Problems with the site

Below are some tips that may help you if you or somebody else is having trouble with the site.

Issues seeing the site

If you or someone with you is having trouble seeing the site in light of a disability, fear not as there are many things that can help.

First and foremost if you have a visual impairment it may be of use if you enlarged the text on the page. All web browsers have this feature built in so there is no need to install anything (phew!)

To enlarge this webpage simply press CTRL and + on your keyboard, to shirk it again simply press CTRL and -

If you wish to view certain aspects of the site at a larger scale rather than the whole page at once, it may be useful to install a screen magnifier.

Screen magnifiers allow you to view certain areas of the page in a far larger scale. For a list of free screen magnifiers that you can download, please visit Magnifiers.org

Screen readers are also useful. They are special pieces of software that will read everything back to you on a PC as you do it. Making the PC usable for those who are visually impaired.

Screen readers are rather expensive however there are some free ones out there. A personal one that I recommend you try is NVDA
