The Cyrillic characters

The majority of the Cyrillic characters have a very similar look and feel to that of their Latin counterparts, making things to some extent comfortable for you already. As a result of this, it is best to look at these similar characters first. Thus you will be able to familiarise yourself with the letters you already know and the letters that have a slight tweak, in the form of looking like a Latin letter but sounding completely different.

I have therefore divided this part of the site into two sub sections, so you are able to familiarise yourself with the letters that look obvious to us, the Latin users, before challenging yourself further.
